A mum has revealed how she ended up pregnant with twins after travelling to Turkey for cut-price IVF treatment.

The woman, who posts on TikTok as @misschar_sh, said the full IVF package cost just £2,999 – around half the price of similar treatment in the UK.

Her deal covered almost everything, including accommodation at the clinic's guest house, blood tests, semen analysis, all required medication, egg retrieval, embryo freezing and more.

"For this type of treatment in the UK you're looking at around £5,000 to £6,000," she explained. "And I can almost guarantee it wouldn't include half the stuff on that list."

Although she had to fork out extra for flights, luggage and medication, the mum said it was "worth every penny" as the experience was "so much less stressful".

Their guesthouse room included a double bed, a single bed for their toddler and access to a communal kitchen, helping them save more cash on meals.

The mum added that while her pre-transfer medication cost £120 and post-transfer came to £320, it still worked out far cheaper overall.

"What I would describe as the most amazing quality treatment, especially when comparing it to my first round in the UK," she said.

"Plus, it felt a lot less stressful as we had two little holidays to Turkey – and of course I'm now growing our baby boys."
